Fab 5 Poscasts: Curious City

Since graduating college, my wife and I have lived in the city of Chicago (until recently). The next podcast in my Fab 5 power rankings explores “Chicago, the region, and its people.” Curious City, produced by WBEZ, is a Podcasts which provides you an in depth look at the quirkiness of Chicago.

Podcast: Curious City

Frequency: Slightly more frequent than monthly. I would consume these episodes as fast as they could produce them. However given the quality and number of interviews that come with each podcast, I am guessing these take loads of time to create/produce.

Duration: approx. 10 minutes. The perfect amount of time. Even if the the topic of the show is something you are generally not interested in, they keep it brief enough so you can stick it out.

Host Carisma: N/A - different personalities from show to show. 

Content: This show answers questions from Chicago residents about the “the region and its people”.

This is quality content. To the point. A great listen for people considering a move to Chicago, new residents of the city, or just someone who likes to learn.
